How it works
External unit (head). This metal box holds a delicate
circuitry for infrared laser light detection, and a high power
infrared laser transmission diode. The incoming infrared light
is focused by internal lens on the the detection diode, and then
amplified and processed. The laser diode emits similar pulses to
those transmitted by LIDAR.
As our design uses a real laser diode, instead of the cheap
infrared LED found in TV remote controls, it is much more
effective and reliable.

Internal processing unit.
It is a microprocessor
based device, which is reading and processing all the
information coming from the head. Upon detection of the specific
LIDAR signal, it instruct the head to emit the jamming pules by
its high power laser diode. You can connect up to two heads on
each internal unit, and a cable bundle which holds the on/off
switch a signal LED and buzzer, and a programming button.
This unit is factory software upgradeable. It should be
connected to the vehicles 12V supply. There is no fuse
necessary, as it has an internal "auto-reset" electronic fuse.

Besides the reflected light, the LIDAR receives the jamming
pulses from the head, and this highly interferes with its
ability to measure speed and distance.
